The history of the De Kronehoef farm complex goes back to 1378. So that’s a whopping 644 years ago this year! Back then, the complex was still called the property ‘Te Gruythuys’. The oldest known map of Eindhoven, that of Jacob van Deventer from around 1560, shows the farm complex.
The wall sections of the dwelling house date from around 1800 and probably even from the late 18th century.
